TROUBLE SHOOTING AND POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
TROUBLE SHOOTING
NO POWER
Check the fuse F01. If the fuse is open change the fuse
after confirming there is no other faulty component.
If fuse is OK the check C10 voltage is normal or not. If its
not normal then change BD01.
If the voltage on C10 is normal the check the SMPS switching
ICs IC01 and IC02. If found faulty change IC01 and IC02.
NO
DIGITAL AUDIO OUT
Check the current digital audio stetting is its in PCM or
Bitstream . IF it’s in PCM then change it to Bitstream.
If ther is no diagital audio out even after it to bitstream,
check the AV receiver settings. If everything is ok there too then check the
AUDIO DATA at AIC Pin 4 (for BD)or AIC3pin 13 (forDVD) using CRO. If there is
no audio data the change the main PCB.
If the AUDIO DATA id ok then check DIGITAL AUDIO DATA at
pin7 of AIC3 if there is no audio data then change AIC3. If its OK, Check 5V at
AIC2 pin 14. If the 5V is missing check the power supply. If 5v is ok the change
the main PCB.
ANALOG
AUDIO MISSING
Check the audio signal at AIC pin 6,7,8. If its ok then check
the passive parts around audio jack.
If there is no audio signal at 6,7,and 8 then check all the
signals at R518,516,514,512. If its ok then check the AIC1. If any signals
found missing check the audio signals at Pin 2,4,6,8 of AIC5. If there is no
audio signal change the main PCB.
If all the audio signals are ok then check digital clock at
Pin 12,14,16,18 of AIC4. If the digital clock is missing then change the main
PCB.
DISC
LOADING ERROR
Check the main and deck power is ok (5V and 12V). if its
missing check the power supply. If the voltage are OK then check is the 40 pin
FFC cable. If found bad change the cable. if the cable is ok check the wave
form of U10 at Pin 24 is normal or not . if its not normal change the main PCB.
If the its OK change the DECK (laser unit).
NO
PICTURE .
Check is there is log screen if it not there check the clock
and data output from U14 R391.R37,R86 . if its abnormal then check or replace X1.
Even after No picture then change main PCB.
BD
ERROR
Check TS Clock, data and SYNC
output from U1 ? (EL6, R342~344, R348). If there is no sync output Check U1
power input and Memory interface
If sync is ok then check Clock,
data and SYNC output from U20 (RP30,
RP31, R518) if there is no signal Check U30 power input and Memory interface.
If U20 sync is OK then check Clock outputs from
U42 pin4 , no clock then Check U42 power input and selection signal (pin6;
‘Low’).
If clock output is there then check SYNC outputs
from U702 pin8,9 if no sync out then Check U702 power, Clock (pin43) and SYNC(pin14,15)
input.
If it’s ok then check Clock, data and SYNC
output from U1 (EL1, VRN1~6, VR30,31),
if no clock change check the soldering of U1 , change U1, change Main PCB.
NO VIDEO HDMI
Check Video selection set properly accords with
cable connection and TV mode. If ok Check the Video select, cable connection,
TV input mode.
Even after that problem prevails check Clock, data and SYNC output from U1 (EL1, VRN1~6, VR30,31). If clock no clock data
then replace U1.
If ok the check Clock, data and SYNC from U601 ?
(R2956, FRN1~6, R605,606). If the clock data is missing Check U601 power input,
X600 oscillation, Memory interface.
If its OK the check pin2 of HD6 is High ? (2.0~5.0V)
if not Check the HIC1 power input and peripheral devices.
If there is no problem check the HDMI socket for
any defect. IF not then change the Main PCB.
